What can you expect?
We are a small church which seeks to honour God in all we do by following what the bible teaches. Our services are therefore quite simple and follow a pattern which many Christians have known for hundred's of years.
The Sunday Service typically consists of four hymns, some bible readings, prayer and a sermon, where the bible is explained to us. The service starts at 10:30 and the service usually finishes between 11:30 and 12:00 depending on what the preacher has to say in his sermon. After the service we stay together for a drink and biscuit and to fellowship together. We typically do not have a Sunday School with our presently attending children remaining in and therefore we don't mind the disruptions that children can often cause. However, if you are planning to attend and wish this we can happily provide it, just contact us through the contact page.
On the second Sunday of each month we hold communion. This is a simple time together around the Lord's table. We invite anyone who trusts in Christ alone as their saviour and is walking with Him to join with us in partaking. If you do not know Christ then please feel free to stay and just let the bread and juice pass by without any embarrassment.
The midweek meeting is a time which is more focused on our learning the details of scripture and on prayer. The bible study is led by one person, or through using a DVD. When the prayer time is reached this is an open time when anyone who know Jesus Christ as God and their personal saviour for their own sins can join in to pray for whatever has been laid on their hearts.
